Between Holding On and Letting Go

Life is a journey between holding on and letting go, a dance between the two. Knowing when to hold on and when to let go is crucial.

Sometimes, out of fear, we hold on so tightly, thinking it’s beneficial for us. Yet, if we could only let go, it would alleviate so much suffering.

Often, we seek closure, a final word. But if it was best for us, the Almighty would have given it to us. Still, we cling to hope for closure.

In the pain of finding balance and knowing when to let go, we discover our strength. This experience was never meant to break you. It was leading you home to your heart, your courage, your strength.

If only you knew how much peace you’d gain from letting go, you’d never clench so tight. What is meant for you will never miss you, and what is not meant for you will never touch you.

I wish you the wisdom to discern when to hold on and when to let go. Anything that robs your peace is too heavy a price to pay. It’s not what happens to you that defines you; it’s how you move on from what happened.

Maybe it’s my turn to let go. I send you loving kindness and wish you farewell, knowing that Al Lateef has and will always have your back.

The wound is the place where light enters you
